Birthday Boy Take 2

March is a huge birthday month around our house! Both boys have birthdays in March which means 2 parties within 2 weeks of each other--insanity!! Owie turned 7 on Friday (March 27th)...we can't believe how fast 7 years have come and gone--I pray time will slow and the next 7 won't go by quite as fast!

Birthday Boy

Rye Bread turned four yesterday (3-12-09)!
Time has flown...It seems like yesterday when we came home to a very sick 3-year old with this newborn baby. It was a terrible first evening home-Chris said, "what have we done?" One child throwing up everywhere and one crying incessantly! Well, today we are still saying, "what have we done?"! Not really... we love Rye to the moon and back and he makes us laugh every day!

Early morning birthday photo op.

Later in the evening at Chuck E. Cheese...

V.I.P.s

It's official...we are moving to south ga. My feeling on the subject depends on the day. Some days I am excited and others I am completely depressed. I mostly hate to uproot my kids (esp. Owie since he loves his school). I also hate to leave my home-- which I love! Anyway...you know you are living in a small town when EVERYONE stops you EVERYWHERE (grocery store, post office, gas station, etc.) to comment on your business--I find it so funny!! Our big move was even on the front page of the sports section of the local paper--yes, we are big time!! See link below to read the fascinating article:

One great thing about the move is that Chris will be working for Ed Dudley (pictured above), who is an old friend. He is a great guy with a wonderful family--they are already celebrities in Waycross (another small town where they take their football seriously)!

Wetzler and Warbington Wrestlers

What do boys do when they get together? They take off their shirts, of course, to show off their manly chests and muscles!!

We had a great visit with some old friends on SSI. St. Simons is still my most favorite place to be--I consider it "home" more so than any of the other gazillion places we have lived. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations during our recent trip--nothing like having friends who own a house right on the beach!!!

We also had a great Valentine's dinner without kids! And Soni...we did manage to get reservations (not at Applebee's by the mall--ha! ha!--Jeff cracked us up!) and a babysitter at the last minute--are we living right or what?

John kept us laughing all night with lawyer tales ("Charlie the one nostril horse thief")!! Keith and Chris were with us, too--they just didn't make the cut for photos-perhaps they should have been funnier at dinner...

Pitiful

These are the bags that were packed for a girls' beach trip.
They never quite made it (even after several attempts) because...

I have been here in a pitiful state since Thursday afternoon.
I am hosting my own little pity party.

Who can resist?

I'm sorry for more puppy pictures... they are soon to be leaving us, so I am taking advantage of their cuteness while I still can! Isn't this a great picture of Alli and the pups?? If only I could take credit for taking it!

Almost Famous

I'm just now discovering that the family I married into is totally famous! A gospel singing group...can you believe it? Shouldn't I be receiving a cut of their royalties?
(Doesn't this look like the photo is taken on the front porch on Plum Street??? Trust me--if I can locate an album, all of the Warbingtons will receive one next Christmas!)
